1973年生まれ、子供の頃に読んだ“サブウェイ・アート”に強い影響を受け、
絵を描く事を始める。 高校時代興味を持った、スケートシーンは現在の作品にも
多いに生かされ、高校を卒業後にロンドンのデザインカレッジに入学。
卒業後はフリーランスのイラストレーターデザイナーの仕事を始め、
フリーランスの仕事の傍ら、自身の作品制作も始める。その後は次第に自身の
作品制作の楽しさに嵌り、グラフィティ・アーティストとして歩む決意をする。
“グラフィティ・アーティスト”D*FACEの誕生である。
そして2006年“自身の仲間や才能ある若手が作品発表を自由にできる様”
にという信念で、イースト・ロンドンのBrick Laneに自身が運営する、
Stolen Space Galleryをオープン。現在まで有名無名を問わず、
多くのアーティストのShowを行い世に送り出している。

D*FACE was Born in 1973 and started drawing after being influenced by "Subway Art" which he read when he was a child. Later as a teenager, he became interested into skateboarding which highly effects his current art works. He enters a design college in London after graduating high school and started working as a freelance illustrator/designer after graduating. At the same time, he started working on his art works while working as a freelance and decided to become a graffiti artist after realizing the joy of creating art. This was when graffiti artist D*Face was born. In 2006, he opens Stolen Space Gallery in Brick Lane, East London to "have a place where his friends and talented young artists can freely announce their artwork". He has had many shows of well-known and unknown artists and sent off many artists to the world until today.
